Aims and scope
NSC Nursing is the scientific journal of the Order of Nursing Professions of Naples. Nsc Nursing is an online free open access, peer-reviewed scientific journal in the field of nursing sciences. The Journal considers articles covering all aspects of nursing research.
NSC Nursing journal is committed to promoting the highest ethical publication practices. Allegations of misconduct will be investigated fully, as outlined on the relevant pages, and as per the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines. Complaints against a journal, its staff, editorial board or publisher should be directed to the editorial office (contact details are provided on journal homepage) or alternatively firstname.lastname@example.org
The submitted manuscript must be an original contribution that has not been previously published (except as an abstract or preliminary report) or submitted for publication to another journal at the same time. Furthermore, in the event that an article is published in NSC Nursing, it may not be published elsewhere in a similar form, in any language, without the express consent. Although the Editorial Board and reviewers make every effort to ensure the validity of published work, the authors are held responsible for any behaviour that is ethically unsound, such as the manipulation of data, plagiarism or duplication of results, and possible conflict of interest. For this reason, the corresponding author must, on behalf of all authors, sign the NSC Nursing cover letter, which must be submitted together with the manuscript in PDF format and which can be downloaded at the following link:
Cost of publication
NSC Nursing aims to promote research, therefore the journal does not charge authors any publication fees and makes published articles freely available.
NSC Nursing does not accept manuscripts with plagiarised material. For the purposes of this policy, plagiarism is defined as the unauthorised use of previously published works including data, images and text.
The editors of the journal will respond to plagiarism at their discretion. Actions taken will be based on the severity of the attempted plagiarism but may include corrections or retractions of the published article, with the author banned from publication in the journal.
NSC Nursing uses Grammarly and Plagiarism Detector software to check submitted articles for plagiarism.
Peer review policy
Peer review is the system used to assess the high quality of a manuscript before it is published. Independent researchers in the relevant research area evaluate submitted manuscripts, for originality, validity and significance so as to help editors determine whether the manuscript should be published in our journal.
Digital content preservation policy
NSC Nursing is digitally preserved by LEGALGED (an Italian company).
The evaluation of the manuscript will be communicated to the authors within 15-30 days to the address that the author has provided for any communication. Generally, the manuscript, if accepted, will be published online in no more than 30 working days from the date of acceptance.
